SUBJECT :

Rescind United Arab Emirates (UAE) Special Nonrecurring Recoupment Cost Charges for Radar Set AN/TPY-2, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System, DSCA Policy Memo 11-23

The attached Finding, signed by the Director, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, rescinds the Special Nonrecurring Cost (NC) recoupment pro rata charge for the sale, coproduction, or licensed production of these items.

The Special NC Charge may be reconsidered and resubmitted after the United Arab Emirates has incurred the research, development, testing and evaluation and/or nonrecurring production costs associated with the Special NC charge request.

The NC charges listed in the Finding will be rescinded from Appendix 1 during the next update of the automated version of the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) found on the DSCA Web Page.

FINDING :

In accordance with DoD Directive 2140.2, dated January 13, 1993, I hereby eliminate the nonrecurring cost (NC) recoupment pro rata charge for the sale, coproduction, or licensed production of the following items:
