DSCA Policy Memo 18-62 Electronic Transfer of Foreign Military Sales Case Data to U.S. Customs and Border Protection has been posted.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and DSCA have recently automated the transfer of electronic data for exports of FMS articles. Providing this information through a system-to-system interface increases the accuracy of the data and eliminates the inefficiency of providing a physical copy of the LOA to CBP. This policy memo updates Chapter 7 of the SAMM to provide guidance on export processes now that the electronic interface with CBP is in place.
