Update of Program Code "7E" to track Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Funding Provided for Peacekeeping Operations (PKO), SAMM Policy 21-70 [SAMM E-Change 547]

REFERENCE :

1. DSCA Policy 19-28, Assignment of Program Code "7E" to track Fiscal Year (FY) Funds Provided for FY 2019/2020 Peacekeeping Operations (PKO) Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO), 20 May 2019

Effective immediately, program code "7E" is updated to track FY2020 O&M funds, in addition to FY 2019/2020 OCO funds, provided for PKO. Funds were provided by Division G of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2020 (P.L.116-94) and obligated via transfer from the Department of State to the DSCA via signature of a Memorandum of Agreement pursuant to section 632(b) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended. Funds are available for reprogramming and expenditure until September 30, 2024.

Instructions for preparation of "7E" LOA documents are found in the SAMM, Table C15.T5. Standard notes applicable to BPC programs are found in the SAMM, Appendix 6, LOA Notes Listing. Funding associated with "7E" LOAs will be fully expended and "7E" cases will be reconciled and closed two months before the funds cancellation date.
