MEMORANDUM FOR :
DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY
OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE ARMY
ACQUISITION LOGISTICS AND TECHNOLOGY
DEPUTY, UNDER SECRETARY OF THE AIR FORCE
(INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS)
DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE
DIRECTOR, NAVY INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS OFFICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY
SUBJECT :
Change in Attrition Rate (DSCA 02-27)
This memorandum responds to a series of informal inquiries with regard to the continued attrition account charge.
Beginning in FY 1996, DSCA received approval to change the attrition rate to 1%. The attrition rate has not changed since the beginning of FY 1996. The approved attrition rate will be reflected in Volume 15 of the Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation ("DoD FMR"), chapter 7 when the revision to this regulation has been approved for publication.
The rate is expected to remain at 1 % unless attrited items and the value of the account requires another rate change.
The DSCA point of contact is Ms. Vanessa Glascoe at 703/601-3744, DSN 329-3744, email: Vanessa.Glascoe@usasac.army.mil.
