Re-categorization from Major Defense Equipment to Significant Military Equipment/Elimination of the Nonrecurring Cost Recoupment Charge - Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System, DSCA Policy Memo 10-50
The attached Finding, signed by the Director, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, re-categorizes the items on the Finding table from Major Defense Equipment (MDE) to Significant Military Equipment (SME) and eliminates the Nonrecurring Cost (NC) recoupment pro rata charge for the sale, coproduction, or licensed production of these items.
The NC charges listed in the Finding will be deleted from Appendix 1 during the next update of the automated version of the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) found on the DSCA Web Page.

In accordance with DoD Directive 2140.2, dated January 13, 1993, I hereby eliminate the nonrecurring cost (NC) recoupment pro rata charge for the sale, coproduction, or licensed production of the following items:
