DSCA Policy Memo 23-44, Update to Chapter 8 Enhanced End Use Monitoring Designation Process Flow based on Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General Project Number D2023-DEV0PC-0073.001 Recommendations has been posted.

This memo serves as notification of updates to the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) to overhaul processes for defense articles requiring Enhanced End Use Monitoring (EEUM). These updated processes are in response to the recommendations outlined in the final report from a Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG) audit Report Number DODIG-2023-074, May 29, 2023, DoD Review and Update of Defense Articles Requiring Enhanced End Use Monitoring.
