DSCA Policy Memo 26-124 Updates to Missile Technology Control Regime Guidance has been posted.

This policy memorandum incorporates updated guidance into the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), Chapters 3 and 5 to reflect newly established implementation guidance under the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), Chapter 7 (22 U.S.C. 2551) Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) requirements.

This memo:

• Removes 3.7.2. Missile Technology Control Regime Category I Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle. (and subsection)
• Removes Table C3.T5. Missile Technology Control Regime Category I Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle Security Cooperation Organization Assessment.
• Updates Table C5.T1A. Defense Articles that Require Additional Country Team Assessment Elements
• Removes Table C5.T1B. Additional Country Team Assessment Elements for Missile Technology Control Regime Category 1 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles.
