Program code "NW" is assigned to track the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023/2024 Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). USAI activities are authorized under Section 1250 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for FY 2016 (Public Law (P.L.) 114-92), as most recently amended by Section 1241 of the NDAA for FY 2023 (P.L. 117-263). Funds were provided under Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2023 (Division M of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (P.L. 117-328)). This memo adds USAI Code "NW" to Table C4.T2B. - Security Cooperation (SC) Customer and Regional Codes and FMS Eligibility (DSCA/DFAS Reserved) and Table C15.T2. BPC Programs and Authorities - USAI.
