DSCA Policy Memo 24-49, Assignment of Semi-Permanent Program Codes "GX" and "GZ" for Peacekeeping Operations - Global to Track Funding Beginning in FY25/26 to Support the Building Partner Capacity Long Term Solution has been posted.
The semi-permanent program code "GX" is assigned to track funds for Peacekeeping Operations (PKO) - Global. Funds are appropriated yearly in the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Program Appropriations Acts. PKO-Global activities are authorized by section 551 of the Foreign Assistance Act, as amended (22 U.S.C. Section 2348). In addition, "GZ" is assigned for the same purpose to be used when Case Designators for "GX" are exhausted. The program codes support the Building Partner Capacity Long Term Solution.
